I watched this film in weber, vaxjo university. :=)
in my opinion,
I prefer 'squid and whale'then 'smoking..'.
through 'Squid',
I began to think about the 'family and sexual growing up' problem.
mother and father and their 2 sons are the main characters in that film.
actually for the sons, their parents' devorce can be a big issue for their lifes. Especially when they were young.
But I think human is not a completely perfect existence so sometime they can make mistakes. so children also can see their parents'problem and through that experience, they can learn the life.
And I also can think about the American's mentality. this film is based on the real story. in that point, I think that the one who tell their real story is very honest.
